Foot & Ankle Surgery

Let’s get this out of the way first: surgery to the feet and ankles is almost always a last resort. If we can relieve your pain and get you back to living your best life through conservative remedies like orthotics, physical therapy, shockwave therapy, or other non-invasive treatments, we will.

However, sometimes surgery really is the best (or only) way forward for a specific problem. When that happens, the Foot & Ankle Center of Oklahoma can provide comprehensive and effective surgical care for a wide range of common foot problems.

Our Surgical Training and Experience

So why should you trust Foot & Ankle Center of Oklahoma to perform your foot surgery?

Dr. Darren Elenburg is a highly trained and credentialed foot surgeon with more than two decades of experience, and is dedicated to improving his surgical skills even further.

After he earned his doctorate in podiatric medicine, Dr. Elenburg completed a four-year surgical residency. He is board-certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Knight completed a foot and ankle surgical residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and then completed two additional years of reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgical training here in Oklahoma City. He is board qualified in foot and ankle surgery from the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

Dr. Elenburg and Dr. Knight are trained in several advanced techniques and state-of-the-art surgical procedures, including the Lapidus procedure for bunion correction and minimally invasive ankle arthroscopy. So no matter what condition patients have, we offer the proper treatment to get you back to your normal daily activities.
